HeriGo is a gifting-focused heritage discovery platform designed to help people explore the stories, products and experiences of Singapore’s heritage businesses.
What HeriGo is about
A map that connects discovery, stories and thoughtful gifting.
HeriGo is being developed as a digital ecosystem for consumers and heritage businesses. The current concept brings business discovery, brand storytelling, social gifting and merchant tools into one experience.
Heritage discovery map
Find businesses by location, category, story theme and nearby routes. Personalised suggestions are part of the product direction.
Business stories
Profiles are designed to help merchants share their history, products and cultural context in a format that is easier to discover.
Meaningful gifting
Gifting concepts use recipient preferences, occasions, shared interests and heritage stories to make recommendations more personal.
Merchant tools
The product roadmap includes insights, inventory support, customer engagement and ways for businesses to collaborate.

The history of HeriGo
From an SIT project to a broader heritage platform.
Started at SIT
HeriGo originated in SIT’s UCS2222 Design Innovation module, also described in project materials as the UDE course.
Developed through Heritage Re-imagined
The team advanced the idea through the Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan (SHHK) Heritage Re-imagined challenge.
Moved beyond a game-first concept
Early ideas centred on quests, routes, mini-games and rewards. Feedback from heritage businesses and instructors shifted the focus toward discovery, storytelling, gifting and practical merchant value.
Now in active development
The current phase covers prototype development, business engagement and preparation for wider app publication. Future roadmap items are presented as plans, not completed milestones.
